Pinball Machine Mods

As the popularity of having a pinball machine at home is growing, pinball mods are becomming the thing to do to customise your own machine.

Lots of differnt pinball mods are available: from adding new toys, decals and artwork, to enhanced lighting, hole protectors and even reproducing what was on the prototype pinballs that didn't make it into the production models.

The list of custom pinball mods is endless, and only limited by imagination.

The vast majority of these modifications are DIY (Do It Yourself), and generally easy to install. And they can be a great addition to your pride and joy.

Indiana Jones (Williams)

Jason (from Melbourne, Australia) kindly shared some pinball mods that he's done to his Indiana Jones pinball machine:

The first mod is the Display Panel Jackpot Lights. This was on the prototype Indiana Jones pinballs, but never made it into production. Jason shows you how to add this feature back on to your Indiana Jones...

The second mod shows you how to light up the Lost Plastic at the back of the playfield. The Lost Plastic was on the prototype machines, but only a few production machines had this plastic. It is available now for you to add to your machine, and with this mod, you can light it up in all its glory...

The final mod is for the Coin Door. Jason has produced a sticker you can add to the front door of your machine to give it that "finished" look. He has kindly allowed it to be available for download.
